Playa Del Carmen:


Playa Del Carmen is located along the Caribbean Sea, in the municipality of Solidaridad, in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is a most popular tourist area in eastern Mexico. Playa Del Carmen features a wide array of tourist activities due to its geographical located in the Riviera Maya. The Town has one of the fastest to grow in population size in the Mexico.

Geography:

Playa Del Carmen located within the Riviera Maya.  Playa Del Carmen runs from south of Cancun to Tulum and the Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve. The Xcaret Eco Park, a Mexican-themed "Eco-archaeological Park" is a most popular tourist destination which located just south of the town in Xcaret.
In October 2005, Hurricane Wilma passed directly over the Playa Del Carmen, remaining in the vicinity for two days and causing significant damage and a temporary drop in tourist arrivals. It moved to north along the Mexican coast and hitting Cancun especially hard.


Tourism:


Tourist activity is Playa Del Carmen centers in Quinta Avanade, or Fifth Avenue, which stretches from Calle 1 Norte to Callle 40. A pedestrian walkway located just one or two blocks inland form the beach, Fifth Avenue is lined with hundreds of shops, bar, and restaurants. There are many small boutique hotels in and just off Fifth Avenue and on the beach.

Playa car is a residential and tourist development in Playa Del Carmen just south of the main urban area. Most of the all-inclusive hotels, the aviary and the golf course are located in the development. There are two phases –phases 1 is mostly residential with a few hotels and some stores, while phases 2 contains the largest all-inclusive resorts as well as the golf course and a significant number of residential properties.

Playa Del Carmen is host to several major annual events. The largest of these was The BPM Festival, a world-famous electronic dance music festival which, up until recently, took place in January each year.

Sport:


The city is home to Inter Playa Del Carmen an association football club founded 1999, which competes in the south group if the Segundo Division Professional the third tier of Mexican football league system.


Noma (resort)


Noma is a two Michelin Star resort run by Chef Rene Redzepi in Copenhagen, Denmark. The name is a syllabic Abbreviation of the two Danish words “nor disk” (Nordic) and “mad” food. Opened in 2003, the resort is known for its reinvention and interpretation of the Nordic Cuisine. In 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014, it was ranked as the Best Resort in the World by Restaurant magazine.


History:


Noma’s original located was in an old warehouse on the waterfront in the Christianshavn neighborhood in central Copenhagen.

The Building is situated by the Greenlandic Trading Square (Danish: Gronlandske Handel Plads), which for 200 years was a center of trade to and from the Faroese Island, Finn mark, Iceland, and in particular, Greenland. Dry Fish, salted herring, whale oil and skins are among the goods that were stored in and around the warehouse before being sold off to European markets.

In 2003, the warehouse was turned into North Atlantic House, a center for the art and culture of the North Atlantic region. The Resort interior is designed by Space Copenhagen.
The between 12 and 16 February 2013, 63 of 435 diners after eating at Noma, according to a Danish Food Administration report. The symptoms were attributed to nor virus which was believed to have been unintentionally spread by an infected kitchen employee.
Redzepi Planned to close Noma after 31 December 2016 and reopen it in 2017 as an urban farm near Copenhagen.
Noma Reopened on 15 February 2018 after a year hiatus. The Resort itself also moved from its previous Strandgade located housing Resort Barr, it current location on Refshalevej.

Q1 Resort is one of the tallest residential tower in the World. The Q1 the highest point above the Gold Coast. It shows 360 degree views form the surf hinterland and beyond. Q1 made up the 12 selection and weighs 87.2 tonnes. The oval shaped spire starts at level 76/255 m high and its also extends 47 m above the glass fin. Q1 designed by Atelier SD G. The designed proceeded during the year of the Sydney 2000 Olympics. The Q1 Building is taller than the Chrysler building which locates in New York City. Q1 Building high is 322.5 meters. Australia's only beach side Observation Deck. The build are 1331 steps form the ground to Level 77. Sky Point is meter above to sea level.

Engineering Facts

Canadian businessman Isadosre Sharp founded Four Seasons In 19960. Four Seasons Buildings built more hotels, including the 1963 Inn on the park, a $4 million two-story resort hotel in suburban Toronto that housed Canada's first discotheque. The Company began Shifting to its current, management-only business model, eliminating costs associated with buying land and buildings. The company went public in 1986. In April 2010, after a year-long dispute with Broadreach Capital Partners and Maritz, Wolff & Co., owners of the contributed to the demise of the business relationship, Four Seasons had not violated its management agreements. St.Lawrence Market:


St.Lawrence Market is the Major public market in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at front of St East and Jarvis St in the Old Town district of Toronto. Until it was demolished to make way for redevelopment, St Lawrence Market North, on the north side on front St hosted weekly farmer's markets and antique markets. A public markets had been held on the north building site since 1803. Several building housed the markets the most recent built in 1968. Starting 2015, the north building has shut to allow for redevelopment.While the north sites is redeveloped, its market function have moved to south of the south building in a temporary building St Lawrence market south, in the south side of front St, is open Tuesday and Saturday, featuring food stalls, restaurants and the St Lawrence market gallery.


History:

The original Markets was known as Market Square and people gathered there on Saturdays at the corner of King Street and New Street, (today's Jarvis St) stretching west to Church Street and south to Palace (today's Front St), with a creek running through the center form King South to the bay. The Market square was the center of the city's social life where auction took place and public punishment were carried out. In the earliest days of the town, when slavery was still legal, this included auction of black slaves. Town Bylaws prohibited the selling of butter, egg, fish, meat, poultry, and vegetable between the hours of 6 am to 4 pm on the Saturdays, except, at the market. Whereas great prejudice hath arisen to the inhabitants of the town and township of New York and of the other adjoining townships form no place or day having been set a part for exposing publicly for sale cattle, sheep, poultry, and other provision, goods and merchandise brought by merchants, farmers and other for the necessary supply of the town of York and whereas great benefit and advantage might be derived to the inhabitants and others by establishing a weekly markets at a place and on a day certain for the purpose aforesaid. The first markets building, a temporary shelter, 24 feet (7.3 m) by 36 feet (11 m) was built in 1814. The first permanent structure was built in 1820. The City of Toronto Government is now proceeding with another markets buildings on the site of the North Buildings. A new four storey buildings. The Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac referred to as the Chateau Frontenac,is the historic hotel in Quebec city, Quebec, Canada. The hotel is the situated in Old Quebec, Within the Historic District's upper Town. The Chateau Frontenac was a designed by Bruce Price and built by the Canadian Pacific Railway Company. The hotel is presently managed by Fairmont Hotel and Resorts. Opened in 1893, the Chateauesque styled building in 79.9 metre tall, containing 18 floors. The building's height is furthered, as it is situated at an elevation of 54 m. Its one of the first completed grand railway hotels. The Hotel was Expanded on three Occasions with the last Major expansion taking a place in 1993. The building was designated a National Historic Sites of Canada in 1981.


Design:

The Chateau Frontenac is one of Canada's grand railway hotel built by the Canadian Pacific Railways. The central fortress-like tower designed is derived form medieval chateaus found throughout France's Loire Valley. The exterior base of the hotel is largely made of grey stone ashlar, with steel framing running includes mahogany paneling, marble staircases, carved stone, wrought iron, and glass roundels. The  Chateauesque-styled buildings found in France, the Chateau Frontenac did not utilize elements of Italianate architecture, instead placing a greated emphasis on Gothic elements. The Hotel also draws certain elements form Victorian Style architecture, with rich polychromatic surfaced throughout its exterior. The architect Bruce Price was originally designed the Chateau Frontenac. Price's plan called for a horseshoe-shaped hotel, made up of four wings of unequal length, connected at obtuse angles. Public rooms  made up the majority of the first two floors if Price's designs. The Original proposal called for a square structure the completion of the Terrasse Dufferin led to the development for a more picturesque buildings. William Sutherland Maxwell has two expansions to the hotel. one in 1908-09, and another in 1920-24 (co-led with his brother, Edward Maxwell)

Peace Tower:


The Peace Tower is also known as the Tower of Victory and Peace the Forcal bell and clock tower sitting in central axis to the Centrel block of the Canadian Parliament building in a Ottawa, Ontario. The present incarnation replaced the 55 metre 180 Victoria Tower after the latter burned down in 1916, the only with most of the centre block; only the Library of Parliament survived. It is serves as a Canadian icon and has been featured prominently on Canadian Twenty dollar bill dircetly to adjacent the queen's visage, until the change to polymer.

Characteristics

Peace Tower is designed by Jean Omer Marchand and John A. Pearson. The are of Nepean sandstone and the roof is of reinforced concrete covered with copper. Base is a porte-cochere within four equilateral pointed archers, the north of which frames the main entrance of the center block, and the jamba=s of the south adorned by the supporter of the Royal Arms of Canada. The tower's 4.8 m (16 ft) diameter were manufactured by the Verdin Company and are set by the National Research Council Time Signal. The tower's flagpole holds symbolic significance, acting as the flagpole the nation. Library of Parliament:


Library of Parliament is main information of repository and research resource for Parliament of Canada. Main branch of library sits at the rear of a Centre Block on the Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Ontario, and also the last untouched part of this larger building's original incarnation after it burn down in 1916. The library has augmented and renovated the large number of times since its construction in 1876 the last between 2002 and 2006 though form and decor remains essentially authentic. Building today Serves as Canadian icon and appears on obverse of Canadian Ten Dollar Bill.

History:

The Library construction began in 1859 and the collection arrived in Ottawa in 1866. The library contects grew over the next five decades and were saved from the 1916 fire that destroyed the majority of the Center Block the building was only connected to main complex by the single corridor and the library clerk at the time, Michael Mac Cormack, secured the library's iron doors before the fire could spread into that area. Fire eventually broke out in 1952. It was then necessary to perform structural works. The Center, East, and West B Locks subsequently received extensive climate control and electrical upgrades, but the library was largely overlooked.

MLC Centre is a located in the Sydney City Centre. This Building High is 288 metres and has 67 storeys. It was designed by Sydney Architect Harry Seidler. This building awarded the Sir John Sulman medal by the Royal Australian Institute of Architect. It is one of the most talled reinforced concrete building in World. The MLC Centre was Sydney's tallest office building form 1977 to 1992. The MLC Centre is also tallest building in Australia for nine(9) years and its losing the title in 1986 by Rialto Towers in Melbourne. The Building includes a shopping centre and 1,186 seat Theatre, the Theatre Royal.

The building is a stark white, modernist column in an octagonal floorplan, with eight massive load-bearing columns in the corners that taper slightly towards the top. It is one of the world's tallest reinforced concrete buildings and was one of the tallest building in the world outside North America at the time of its completion. The Mlc Centre was Sydney's tallest office building form 1977 to 1992. The MLC Centre is wholly owned by Dexus, which acquired a half-stake in the property form the Queensland Inverstment Corporation in June 2017 and bought out its former co-onwer, the GPT Group, in March 2019. The Podium of the buildings include a shopping center and a 1,186 seat theater, the Theater Royal.


General Post Office:


The General Post Office is landmark building located in Martin Place, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The building is construction in two stage and beginning in 1886 and designed under the guidance of Colonial Architect JAMES BAFRNET. A former police office on the present site of the General Post Office. In 1840s this building was givem a portico facade. The population of New South Wales and Sydney grew in the 1850s and 1860s. This is important postal service in Australia. The building constructed in two stage one stage was completed in 1874 and Second Stage begin 1879 with the designed modified to incorporate a clock tower. The building was complete in 1889 and the clock tower was complete after two later. Throughout its twenty five year construction process, the GPO was marred by two major controversies, the first of which related to the selection of brlls for the campanile clock and the seconds,more significantly, to the commission of Italian immigrant sculptor Tomaso Sani's "realistic" depictions of people for the carvings along the Pills Street Arcade. One of its first critic, Frederick Darley (later, the Chief Juctice of NSW)" denigrated the carvings  as caricatures" and such was the controversy surrounding these works that it led to debates on aesthetics and taste within the New South Wales, The Building served as the headquarters of Australia Post form its completion until 1996 when it was privatised and refurbished. The Scaled back day to day counter postal services are now located on the George Streel frontage and the outlet is known as the Syndney GPO Post Shop. The Old General Post Office post boxes and poste restante services are now located in the Australia Post site in the hunter connection, on the corner of George street and hunter street. Despiyr significant internal alterations and additions, the facade has remained virtually unchanged and is listed both on the Commonwealth Heritage List and the New South Wales State Heritage Register, as recognition of its architectural and social significance to the history of Australia.


Location:

The site of the GPO falls within the traditionals countrys of the Cadigal people, a part of the Eora Aboriginal nation within the Sydney region and one of the many hundreds of communitited which make up the Indigenous people of Australia. Historivally noted for beig a harbourdwelling clan, the Cadigal people inhabited the shoreline stretching form the inner South Head to the Eastern Suburbs, and west to warrane (or War-ran, now the known as Sydney Cove) and also along parts of today's city of sydney to Gomora( now known as Darling Harbour). The current site of the Gereral Post Office is also situated over the now entirely enclosed Tank Stream, which was once the primary source of fresh water for the Penal Colony of New South Wales, shortly after the arrival the First Fleet on 26 January 1788, under the direction of Arthur PHilips, The First Governor. Today, the Gereral Post Office is located along the western end of Martin Place( N0. 1 Martin Place) and spans the entired the length of this section of public plaza between George and Pitt Streets.
